01Does it work in every country?+
The core assumes no national law. Each firm configures matter types, fields, workflows and models. Future country packs will be editable copies the firm must review and approve.
02Is the price per user or per firm?+
Per firm, with the stated users included in the plan. You do not pay for each person you invite while you stay within that limit, and you can change plan whenever you need to.
03Will my firm have its own website?+
Yes, when the selected plan includes the firm site. Present practice areas, team, credentials, FAQs and contact options using your own logo, colors and images. Depending on the plan, publish in English and Spanish and connect a custom domain.
04Does automation replace the lawyer?+
No. CortexLex combines data with firm-controlled models. Every output requires human review and nothing is filed automatically.
05Can I use my Word documents?+
Yes. The first release accepts macro-free DOCX, analyzes placeholders and generates DOCX while preserving compatible structure. PDF conversion will use a validated engine or provider.
06Can my clients sign in?+
Yes. Invited clients can use a private portal to review progress shared by the firm, send information, answer questionnaires, access documents, communicate and view operational account statements. Internal notes and unauthorized content stay private.
07How do I subscribe and when do I pay?+
You can start with a 14-day free trial without a card or subscribe online. When subscribing, you choose plan and billing interval, leave the subscription pending and continue to secure checkout. The firm is created only after the provider confirms payment.
08Does it include tax invoicing?+
No. CortexLex tracks fees, time, expenses, installments, payments, operational receipts and account statements but does not issue tax invoices or replace local accounting software.
09Can I migrate data?+
Yes, after reviewing source, quality, volume, permissions and structure. The proposal states import scope, validation, any cost and rollback plan.
010Is my information used to train AI?+
Customer content will not be enabled for model training without explicit consent, a concrete purpose and separate contractual terms.
011Do I need to install anything?+
No. The application runs in a modern browser for both the firm team and its clients.
012How does onboarding work?+
We review processes and users, configure the firm, import agreed data, validate permissions and support the team before normal use.
013Can I cancel and export?+
Yes. You can cancel subscription renewal and request export during the applicable window. The refund and cancellation policy explains timing, review and support channels.
